Assets

Asset Overview

Asset are the specific assets that an organization owns and needs to be tracked individually.
Some examples includes specific art pieces, smartboards.

Create or Edit an Asset

Open the OSIS Admin page (/osis/admin/) and scroll down to the Asset Management Section. Click Asset and then Click Add to start the creation process, or select one of the existing asset to open up the edit form.

Asset Images

To add an image for an asset, navigate to the Images tab, click the Attach New Image button or search for an existing image within the system.

Assigning an Asset to a Location

Asset can be assigned to locations within OSIS. This allows end users to see which space has the asset and or filter the spaces by the available asset on the floor plan.
To assign an asset to a location, navigate to the Locations tab, filter and search for the desired location. Click to assign location.

Assets can also be given specific coordinates on a map and on the floor plan to indicate their locations.
