OSIS assigned spaces allow for the permanent or semi-permanent assigning of desks or rooms, per schedule, to users such that the space is always available to the user without needing to reserve the space.

Additionally, organizations can allow the user to temporarily release their assigned space while they are away from the office, making the space available for others to reserve during the away period.

Release for booking via the space reservations screen

  1. Create an away schedule for your assigned space by clicking the “Add away schedule” button. Set an away schedule
  2. Fill in away details and allow others to reserve your assigned space in the away schedule screen Enter away details
  3. Via the “End away schedule” button, if needed, you can cancel an active schedule that is no longer valid. For example: If you have decided not to go away on vacation, come back early or have entered information incorrectly. Cancel an away schedule Cancel away screen
